Comprehensive engine service and locking tool kit for chain driven BMW 1.8 and 2.0 N42, N46, N46T twin cam petrol engines. Specially designed for VANOS variable camshaft timing units on the inlet and exhaust camshafts with the BMW Valvetronic system that adjusts the timing and lift of the inlet valves. Feature all necessary tools to lock timing in correct position for removal or installation of the cam chain and for dismantling or rebuilding of the camshaft carrier bracket (Valvetronic) assembly. Suitable for BMW 118i, 120i E81/82/87/88 (2004-2014), 318i/318ti Compact E46 (2001-2007), 318i, 320i E90/91/92/93 (2005-2014), 520i E60/E61 (2007-2010), X1 xDrive18i E84 (2010-2012), X3 xDrive20i E83 (2005-2010), Z4 2.0 E85/E86 (2004-2009).
