ASTA A-8079 is timing tool set for BMW. Allows correct alignment of the camshaft and crankcase settings to change the timing belt or chain in gasoline and diesel engines. It includes a spanner for correct rotation of the exhaust camshaft pinion during installation and dismantling of the VANOS unit. Includes a preloading tool for the primary timing belt to tighten the timing belt in M59, metric 22 thread M42/M60 and metric 26 thread M50/M52 engines. Supplied in carry-case.
